Fakir

Friday my good friend lars called me to say that he was going to Cold Hawaii to a spot called Fakir. It has been absolutely freezing up here for the last few weeks. The forecast was for tempratures around - 5 degreas - brrrr, but also for quite nice waves. I had spend all week in bed due to a flu- attack.
So I opted for a 6 hour workout with the chainsaw instead.
Fakir has its name from the metal wires sticking out of the rocks at the beach, making the launch pretty hairy at times..
Lars spend the day with Klitmøller locals  Lars Petersen and Christan Gøbel..

X-mas lookback

As previously mentioned conditions during the christmas days have been great. Lots of wind and waves from  asoutherly corner making it not so cold as expected during the mid of winter.
The reef in Klitmøller , Cold Hawaii has been delivering pretty hardcore  windsurf conditions.But also further south  the surfers have been pretty happy.

First surf !

First day of the year and first surftrip to the westcoast.  I opted for Hvide Sande with a few good friends. Quite a few people in the water despite all the new years parties. The conditions started out pretty average but the waves keept building and in the end the conditions were pretty OK.
Surfers and SUP'ers shared waves without any hasle -  pure fun.
The water quality isn't the best at the moment and Local surfer Mads named the spot : Toilet bowl
I shoot a few pics before and after my session.
Back home the wife is still suffering from the flu...
